Mindfulness for Beginners –
Uncovering Inner Peace
This 90 minute class will introduce you to the practice of mindfulness. In the classroom we’ll chat about the physical, emotional, and mental benefits of mindfulness and how to call upon these gifts when we’re stressed or tired.
We’ll explore the nature of the thinking mind, and how to shift our attention into presence, awaken the senses, and relax the body. We’ll also spend time in the gardens, weather permitting, practicing what we’ve learned about our busy minds.
